When You have to Make your own Path

The other day... I was walking it was a snow storm the night before and it was several inches of snow on the ground and I was walking the path that was already made in the snow you could see it was a definite path but with that defiant clear path when I tried to walk on that path I kept slipping because the snow had been compacted down and then the sun had melted it creating a Ice slick so when you tried to walk on it there was slick area’s and I really couldn’t walk there... the only way I could walk without falling was to step off the path and turn and create a New one

So, let's dissect this.

How many people you know would rather walk the path that was already created... it’s easier Right.

The word of god teaches us that Jesus told of a parable... “13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Mathew 7:13-14

God has tendency in life to make you walk the narrow road in ALL things.

Because how you do one thing is how you do everything.

Because if you're walking the path that everyone is walking the worldly way then it’s set up to make you slip in stumble.

BUT WHY!!! This is the path that everyone is walking everyone can do it it’s easy.

No, it’s NOT Easy... it’s full of boogie traps that you're going to fall into if you are a born-again blood wash believer. You try to walk the straight path... the one the world says... but because the world travels it there are vultures waiting to take you the green believer out...

What as a child of god your supposed to do is take this information and make your own way... do we not remember David's story.

“I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off. 40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.

41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. 42 He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. 43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”

45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.

49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.

50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone;

  David could not take the path that was previously set up as he stated he couldn’t put on the other person armor

We can’t take the world armor and do Gods work in the world

My Coach stated in a prayer conversation “we are to Think like god {have the mind of God} But act like the word”

You should walk like the world in order to get into certain arena’s some people aren’t even going to invite you in the party if you're walking around rebuking every worldly thing dressing like a nun you ain’t getting into ANY room like that... you gotta dress right... you have to put on the make-up and straighten your hair even if you like it natural because some business meeting calls for it to be straight you to have your makeup looking glamorous. Religiosity tells you that that’s not of god.

BUT GOD... wants us to look glamorous Anointed and appointed

But we are to look like them but Walk the narrow path.

Getting back to the path... when you start stepping into the clean crunchy snow you gain traction, get grip and you can gain moment to move forward.

So when as a child of god... I had to sit down plan and begin to work through a different route to attain the things that god has placed me on this earth to do.... most of us refuse to get up and walk if we can’t see the paths we walking down.

You really want to walk down a clear path... because it doesn’t force you to think {when you got 5-7 different things you're trying to focus on at once... simple [path feels better to your flesh because you can rest in that} the path less traveled is slippery you can’t see the end of the thing you can’t see where you're going to mess up Happy mistakes are wonderful because it works in your FAVOR... but when it Doesn’t... you can become thoroughly SHATTERED in that moment, because it confirms that secret fear you had all along.

But you also fight your Deepest fear “you’ll be greater than you can ever Imagine.”

So it’s time to pave your own path... and you will be greater then you ever imagine.
