Leap of Faith
Preparing to Jump out of the boat We All Go through a season where we finally reach a point where we have all dried up where we Are and we have to make a conscious Decision to Jump Out of the Boat…. Take that leap Of Faith that will Make a Drastic change in your life that if you DON’T you very well might lose everything.
You Have to Jump out Of the Boat There is a passage in the bible that speaks of this
Jesus Walks on the Water 22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. 25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” 28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” 32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” 34 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him 36 and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
Trusting Jesus in the Midst of storm You see we have the tendency as Gods Children We will Follow God only as long as he is doing things we feel comfortable doing and we know and understand what it is that he is doing but the second that we have no idea where is sending us or where we are going We back up “That will just fin we will be alright”
But then God tells us to do something like Move, I was TOLD to come to Brooklyn the signs were all over and ALL around me and I was SCARED to take that leap Like Peter.
He gave me confirmation just like he spoke Courage over Peter.

He stepped out
I stepped out and came to Brooklyn - Walking with Jesus on the water Peter got scared
I got scared once I got here and realized it wasn’t going to be a cake walk and I looked down and started to flounder in the water
God showed them that he was right there if he kept walking
He showed me he was still there through
· Scriptures · Sermons · People me placed around me to talk to me · The things that were given to me without me even asking for it or right when I needed it [Money, food Clothing]
Jesus choosing to pray Jesus teach us that the Only way to make sure that you know that you know that you know that you know what God wants if by Prayer and supplication
Philippians 4:6New International Version (NIV) 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Jesus Prayed when he was on the mount even when the boat left because he knew that it was more important to pay then it was to just go after them, he know that through GOD it would be taken care of he didn’t have to fear or be anxious that the boat left he could get there any time… his anointing would take care of it for him.
You see some times god places upon his chosen a annoying and when you are within his word and in his way he gives your eyes to see ears to hear and the words to speak.
Even when it looked like the ship had Left
- The sea calmed when Jesus got in the boat again Jesus could have chosen to make it easy, But he walked through the storm.
If you keep your eyes on the Lord you understand that the seas of life will calm and it will be as if you are walking on the water.
Your issue will fall flat and you will be able to walk on top of them with your feet. Because God teaches us through Experience
We have to go and step out the boat, we have to walk out and when we do if we stay with our ear to hear he will lead us right through the experience, but you can’t avoided the EXPERINCE even if you want to you have to WALK through it and he will show you he with you the whole way through. He will place you… he will cover you and he will make for you… you path way straight and ways in the wilderness
