- Joseph and The Techi-color Dream Coat

Joseph Sold by His Brothers

- 12 Now his brothers had gone to graze their father’s flocks near Shechem, 13 and Israel said to Joseph, “As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.”

- “Very well,” he replied.

- 14 So he said to him, “Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron.

- When Joseph arrived at Shechem, 15 a man found him wandering around in the fields and asked him, “What are you looking for?”

- 16 He replied, “I’m looking for my brothers. Can you tell me where they are grazing their flocks?”

- 17 “They have moved on from here,” the man answered. “I heard them say, ‘Let’s go to Dothan.’”

- So Joseph went after his brothers and found them near Dothan. 18 But they saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.

- 19 “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other. 20 “Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.”

Go To the Place That God Will Show You

It Happens to Us All At some Point in Life.

We have to leave the Nest

You know the story of the Eagle it’s parents build a very deep nest and when the Eagle baby need to fly they take the baby up to the highest mountain and Drop him OFF

I know it sounds Harsh doesn’t it and it keeps doing that until the baby learns to fly.

You see in my life God has done the same.

First time he dropped me off was when I was kicked out of and evicted from my parents’ home because my dad could no longer afford to pay.

Tried to get footing in other places

Tried finding a job

But my security blanket was my education and it served me Well

Then I got kicked out again of that nest in 6 months

Tried to do it the right way

- Get a job

- Get assistance

Hell I even went into the system for a while to tread water

Kicked out again

After 18 months

Still couldn’t find a job or stable place to stay kicked out of my dad’s home with him after 3 months

Ended up moving into a home of a friend’s mother who worked for good will stayed there again for 6 months (bad ending) and Kicked out the nest again.

I finally ended up at a Godmothers house got myself together got schooling on track

Got a part time work

Started working on external projects and

After 5 years

The wheels fell off again (in the first 2)

- Lost my job

- lost my schooling

- Lost my boyfriend

Over the next 2 to three years it fell apart.

Then I ended right back with my dad and I stayed until I couldn’t stay any longer I had to make a decision just like Abraham

Abraham leaving home

Genesis 12:1 New International Version The LORD had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.

Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you; 2And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;…

IN ORDER TO MAKE YOU Great in order to make your name Great he has to Move you from your comfort zone, to GO.

I had to leave my Father’s House and GO where he had Been showing me for a long time and I was able to see my true Favor was HERE in Brooklyn, New York.

But you must be willing to go… Go to the place God will show you
