COVERED: the Storm – Part 2 (When it Rains it pours)
A few days ago I wrote a Article called (Covered in the storm)
Now I am continuing that same premise from this part of the process, we always ask god for the rain to bless us in our lives and then we wonder what is going on when All hell breaks out in our lives as the process of the blessing begins.
You see, every preacher loved to peach
It’s your suddenly season The rain is coming and it’s coming down. Run for the rain Receive the over flow.
Very few will tell you that when the rain comes it starts to put and it’s not always blessings that come out the clouds first.(at least nothing you would look at blessings)
O knew I was blessed and anointed to do something great and I kept calling for the rain. Well you see the enemy has an amazingly comical sense of humor, because what he did is there was a fire in the apartment above mine and oh I got rain alright water came down the walls from the sprinklers going off and the entire apartment got soaked while at the same time that same night of that fire we got in dealing with the water damage and low and behold it starts actually pouring down rain.
It took the last month and a half for them to finish repairs on the apartment.(and they still haven’t gotten the baseboards put back and there have been mice and small insects coming in as a result)
But hay gods gotta make you uncomfortable before he blesses you so you ready and on edge to get ready to get out.
You pray from the curses to break off your family and your household and you see the everyone you love and care about get pulled away from you and separated from you for the season, everyone that you listened to and trusted to give you guidance’s and you feel alone.
People you trusted to be there started to attack you.
And you yelling up to god “THIS DON”T LOOK LIKE THE BLESSING I ASKED FOR”
Because this is the breakdown of the construct that was created to get you to this point because before the damn can break if very well can’t break without cracking the wall and destroy everything that was there in the place of what was going to be rushed in to bless you so there had to be destruction so there would be room enough for it be reconstructed with all the marvelous blessing of the lord.
But while things are being shredded you have to keep walking “though you slay me still I rise” you keep moving forward don’t pay attention to the things falling apart keep moving and the situations will be put back together.
And you learn how much you are truly growing in this time and season because this is a time
Where you Worship harder Run faster after the things for God
You don’t run away because no one else seems to understand your struggle. Stay humbled and grateful in the struggle but keep on going.
People might even think that you’re playing down your struggle when your saying that your okay in the midst of all of this chaos. Because they don’t see how god has blessed you in a invisible way.
It’s so hard when you are pushing with all your steam and on fumes for this rain, your season has changed you have gotten ran but it don’t look like blessings.
• Nothing seeming to have changed for the good
• Then you see a insignificant change is made (your praying for financial window falls and you get 5 dollars when you have overdraft in your account for $48)
• Then people start coming at you about the very things you have been looking for blessing on.
• Marriage
• Family
• Finances
• Health
“So lord um when them blessing part of this rain going to come in because right now it’s looking rather dismal”
But Psalm’s 23:5
“He makes a table for you in the presences of your enemies”
You have to go through ALL this so that when you are blessed behind being able to stand behind ALL this. All those things and those people will be left with their mouth open because you not only made it but your doing so much better and greater than anyone ever could have imagined you doing because you were blessed before their eyes .
But what do you do when the blessing on the other side doesn’t look as great as it sound like when god showed it to you, what if it wasn’t how you saw it that you still had struggle just different way yeah you got a lot of what you saw but on top of it people hated on you worse, there were cliques inquiring at you harder then you ever had to deal with people were fighting your peace at every turn and you didn’t get he pent house when you first got there you had to live in a rent control little place till you got to someplace better after you finished the trial period.
Not looking to blessed.
But all of its necessary so that god can know for certain that in the midst that you will fight for the blessing and he can trust you with it.
Be a good steward of what you have so god can bless you with more you handle the dry season well when you get to the palace season “it will be as if you dreamed it’.
So stay steadfast and unmovable and watch the lord work for you.
