Not Your Momma Shepards Pie

Sheppard Pie

Beef stew


III. Beef– Now you take your beef, and you soak it in water slat vinger overnight of few hours watch it off then you take the seasoning salt, garlic, pepper mix together and Rub it underneath the skin if you want to do a marinate you put it in the plastic bag and let it sit overnight and cook your chicken overnight. Cook it on 375 for 2 hours the last 45minutes take it down to 350. 


IV. Soup 

A. 

1. Celery, 

2. beets, 

3. onion, 

4. carrots, 

5. kale, 

6. garlic, 

7. turnips, 

8. parsnips 

9. sweet potatoes, 

10. fresh parsley. 


Cut equal amounts of all vegetables (washed) and put them in a one-gallon pot. 

Get your seasoning and then pour in your chicken Broth. And cook the Vegetables on low for the next few hours (about the same time you cook your meet three hours on a LOW simmer) 


You can either Mash the potato or {if you have food processor till its small crumbs add a few laddles of the broth from the pot and let it get gooey like a thick smoothie 

First get your dough


Get a pancake batter or homemade biscuit batter, I know weird right, your going to use a spoon full of potato's  {you're going to use the liquid from your beef stew not oil [you know beef stew has that get on oil goodness in it]}add your salt, your water or beef gravy  2-1/4 cups warm water (110° to 115°) add a quarter cup of sweet potato mix it in until your dough is the right consistence, 


Take the dough out let it rise for an hour, then roll out, now you're going to spread instead of butter on the dough a layer of the potato filling for pie then pour meat and vegetable stew evenly on the sprinkle the same seasoning of the stew. Over it till covered evenly. You can add beef gravy {for moisture} ROLL up the dough, slice your rolls out put it in a oven safe container, let it rise again 20 minutes... let it cook for 45 


Icing, Pour the beef Gravy on top and top with laddle of beef stew


Drizzle on top and eat {yes a sweet heart attack waiting to happen but you’ll die HAPPY.}
